Founded in 1969, CEFAMOL – National Association of the Mould Industry is the representative body for the mould sector in Portugal, acting as a strategic agent in the promotion, development and enhancement of this industry of excellence.
Playing an active role in defending the interests of its member companies, CEFAMOL works to strengthen the competitiveness, innovation and sustainability of the sector, both nationally and internationally.

IN ITS MISSION TO CONTRIBUTE TO STRENGTHENING ASSOCIATIONS AND PROVIDING VALUE-ADDED SERVICES TO ITS CUSTOMERS, IT BASES ITS QUALITY POLICY ON THE FOLLOWING STRATEGIC GUIDELINES:
- Promote the Mould and Special Tools Industry and its collective brand ‘Engineering & Tooling from Portugal’ at national and international level;
- Support and promote the technological and commercial development of the Sector;
- Promote the qualification and professional training of managers, senior technical staff and operators;
- Plan and develop studies and activities that enable the monitoring of developments in technologies, markets, key customer industries and main international competitors;
- Motivate companies in the sector to work in networks and partnerships;
- Organise and promote initiatives in the field of technical and scientific development;
- Raise awareness and motivate young qualified people for the Mould and Special Tools Industry.
- Encourage the active participation of companies in national and international innovation and development projects.
